The past few months have sped by without much notice. These were taken in lovely Austin, TX in April 2011 -- consider them fashionably late. I didn't get out with my camera much as luck would have it, but each photo says something completely on its own. The trip to SXSW was unforgettable and I soaked in every minute. To all the people I met, I dedicate this to you. We had a short time together in Austin, but it was the start of something great.

Street Cred
Street performers have always captured my attention. I can't walk by and act like I don't hear the music or see the dancers feeding off of the public's energy. They don't ask much of their surroundings and they use what they have to perform, whether they need a bit of extra cash or they just purely enjoy giving the public something to cheer for.

Legendary artists came together last Tuesday to raise money for Haiti as the one-year anniversary of the quake made its way onto the calendar. It was a packed house at the Brooklyn Bowl, with guest artists taking the stage, such as Maceo Parker, Dr. John and Questlove. Magical is the only way to describe such a night, and none other than yours truly was there to witness it and bring its beauty to you.

yogalates
Yoga has become a big part of my life. It's been my relaxation, inspiration and source of strength whenever I felt weak. This is a shoot I did as a culmination of a semester in Boston, after experimenting with my camera in deeper depth and finding photography as a passion. I hope you see what I wanted to communicate with them.
